| It was the Chinese philosopher Mo-Ti, who first described the optical phenomenon he called a "collecting place." Light passing through a tiny hole in the wall of a darkened room would cast a full-color, upside-down image of what was outside on the opposite wall. By the 17th century this principle had evolved and been named the camera obscura. About 2,500 years after Mo-Ti's observations, two photographers, Martin Cox and Paul Antico, joined forces to become moti obscura. Combining decades of experience in many realms of photography, moti obscura offers simply the best product, architectural & interior photography since the 5th century BC. |
